Classic Oldies, New Covers: Fellowship
In “Classic Oldies, New Covers,” we look at four key ministries at the heart of who we are as the Church. We’ll find our verse and chorus in the classic Psalms and New Testament, and discover how their covers play today.
Psalm 133:1-3 [ESV]
Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity! It is like the precious oil on the head, running down on the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down on the collar of his robes! It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion! For there the Lord has commanded the blessing, life forevermore.
Galatians 6:1-5 [ESV]
Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor. For each will have to bear his own load.
